Driver Arrested After Ramming Car into Students in Marrakech, Injuring Four

The judicial police of Marrakech opened, on Wednesday, a preliminary investigation into criminal acts attributed to a car driver. He would be involved in a deliberately provoked traffic accident, causing injuries and property damage.
The suspect, aged 26, was driving a car belonging to a household appliance sales company. He was distracted by an altercation with a group of students leaving their school when the accident occurred.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the driver accelerated, making several reversals. In his maneuver, he slightly injured four students and caused material damage to three cars and three private motorcycles.
The injured were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary care. The driver, for his part, was taken into custody, pending the elucidation of the circumstances of this case, as well as his true motives.
