Dragnet: a Belgian drug baron arrested in Morocco

Settled in Morocco for some time to be forgotten, the fugitive did not escape the security cooperation between the two countries. He is now subject to an immediate extradition procedure requested by Belgium to serve his sentences there.

As with many figures of major crime in recent years, it was the decryption of the secure Sky ECC messaging service that led to his downfall. The intercepted conversations revealed that Glenn S. played an active role in the extraction of cocaine shipments through the port of Antwerp. He notably collaborated with "Bolle Jos", another well-known name in the Antwerp criminal milieu.

His criminal record is already heavy: a final conviction to four years in prison handed down in Antwerp last year, and a second sentence of six years imposed in Leuven (currently on appeal). His forced return to Belgium now seems inevitable.
