Domestic Violence Surges in Morocco During COVID-19 Lockdown, Women's Rights Group Reports

Confinement has caused the number of women victims of violence to explode. The Federation of Leagues of Women’s Rights states that it has received 515 telephone calls, from 355 women victims of violence in the various regions of Morocco, between March 16 and May 15.
