Disney World Sues EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion Amid Financial Struggles

The "Walt Disney World" amusement park has filed a lawsuit in the state of Florida against the Morocco pavilion, which is part of the World showcase in the EPCOT theme park near Orlando.
World News Today reports that Disney is demanding a guarantee against "all goods, inventory, furniture and all other personal property belonging to the debtor that are or may be located on the premises".
The Marrakech restaurant, one of the components of the Morocco pavilion, is experiencing serious financial difficulties. The establishment has also requested a payroll guarantee program or a "PPP" loan of $1 to $2 million due to the closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Thanks to the acquired funds, 260 jobs have been preserved. The Marrakech restaurant has not yet reopened. In early August, the Tangierine Café had experienced a temporary closure. Currently, Spice Road Table and some shops in the Morocco pavilion have been able to reopen.
