Devastating Head Kick Ends Badr Hari’s Fight, Named Glory Kickboxing’s KO of the Year

The kick that knocked down the Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari in September against the Pole Arkadiusz Wrzosek is the KO of the year according to the Glory Kickboxing organization.
The Moroccan had lost his fight in the 2nd round after a blow to the head by the one who admitted to having been afraid before his duel. The Moroccan from Amsterdam, who had nevertheless dominated the first round, could not get up.
"Badr is the best fighter in the world," Wrzosek declared to Glory. "I knew it wouldn’t end well for me if I started boxing with him. So I waited for the right moment and counter-attacked. And it worked. It’s no secret, just look at his past fights. There’s very little chance of winning against him," he admitted.
Badr Hari, however, does not admit defeat and has demanded a rematch. "I expected it," said the Pole, "and it’s normal. He had come to win and lost by KO. Everyone is asking me for it, but I’m waiting for a proposal from Glory. If they want me to face him again, I’ll do it. If they want me to face someone else, that’s fine too."
