Moroccan Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Suffers Shock KO Loss to Polish Underdog
It was probably one too many fights for Moroccan champion Badr Hari. Tonight he was defeated by KO against Pole Arkadiusz Wrzosek at the 78th Glory event held in Rotterdam.
The Moroccan had dominated the first round, but it took a moment of inattention at the beginning of the 2nd round for the Pole to take advantage and knock him out with a violent kick. Badr Hari will not get up from the fight.
Relatively unknown, the Pole was nevertheless a very accessible opponent. The Glory organization had well prepared the ground for the Moroccan to bounce back and return to his best form. This was apparently not enough. The Moroccan has not truly conquered anything in 6 years and this is his fourth consecutive defeat. At 36, it may be time for him to hang up his gloves and say goodbye to the ring.
