Friday 8 April 2022, by
One of the patients of El Hassan Tazi, the famous cosmetic surgeon from Casablanca Hassan Tazi, in pre-trial detention at the Oukacha prison for, among other things, human trafficking and abuse of weakness, intends to file a complaint with the authorities.
Additional legal troubles in prospect for El Hassan Tazi. In a personal video, one of his patients whose identity has not been revealed threatened to file a complaint against him for non-fulfillment of a promise, reports Hespress. This Casablanca cosmetic surgeon "had promised the lady to complete a cosmetic surgery operation on her face for free." He had then called on the "mouhcinines" (benefactors). They transferred sums of money to be used for the realization of the operation. However, "he did not keep his promise," says the patient. As evidenced by "the scars" still visible on her face.
On the order of the investigating judge of the Casablanca Court of Appeal, Dr. El Hassane Tazi himself, his wife, his brother, two other employees of his private clinic have been placed in pre-trial detention at the Oukacha prison for several offenses. These five people are being prosecuted under arrest for human trafficking, exploitation of the vulnerability of people for commercial purposes, fraud against benefactors acting in good faith, exploitation of minors suffering from illness, misappropriation of donations collected at the expense of victims, falsification of treatment invoices and medical records and money laundering and usurpation of function. As for the three other people arrested as part of this case, they are being prosecuted while at liberty.
