Desperate Moroccan Wife Offers Reward to Save 18-Year Marriage from Divorce

After 18 years of living together, she cannot bring herself to separate. To try to save her marriage, a Moroccan woman has had an idea as original as it is desperate: to offer money to the person who will succeed in convincing her husband to give up the divorce.
A man has initiated divorce proceedings before the family and social affairs court in Casablanca. But his wife does not embrace this idea. On the web, she has desperately launched an appeal on Tuesday to find an individual who will be able to save her 18-year-old relationship. She promises a substantial financial reward to the person who could play an effective mediating role, in order to convince her husband to cancel the divorce, to recover all of his money, including alimony, repudiation compensation and allowance. However, she did not specify the exact amount.
This woman says she is ready to return all of the husband’s financial rights exceeding one million dirhams, and to maintain the protective seizure on his property for life, out of respect for her spouse. She claims that what she is looking for is not material, but emotional, psychological and human. "Help me open his eyes, remind him of our love," she said, adding that she does not choose money or pride, but love, unity and sacrifice. She says she is convinced that God will also reward this potential mediator.
The approach of this woman has been variously appreciated on social networks. Some see the touching image of a woman refusing separation and seeking reconciliation by all means, while others believe that this approach may not be sufficient if the will is not shared by both parties. "However, everyone agrees that what this woman has done reflects a rare emotional sincerity and the courage to express love at a time when marital relationships easily collapse under the pressure of selfishness or passing conflicts," it is reported.
