Demi Moore Launches Vintage-Inspired Swimwear Line Made in Morocco

Demi Moore, the 59-year-old actress, producer and author, has partnered with Andie, the women’s swimwear brand, to launch her own limited edition vintage-inspired collection. The swimsuits were manufactured in a factory in Morocco.
Demi Moore x Andie. This is the name of Demi Moore’s collection. It includes 10 styles and is made from high-end fabrics from Italy and France. The swimsuits were manufactured in a factory in Morocco, reports Sourcing Journal. The collection includes classic bikinis and one-pieces in solid colors, elegant backless tops paired with palazzo-style bottoms, and a handful of prints, including one inspired by fireworks. Demi Moore x Andie is inspired by the star’s own collection of vintage pieces gathered on her travels around the world, it is noted.
The collection - priced at $75 to $155 - was released online on July 7. A second release is planned for July 15. "Demi was involved in every step of the design process, from sketches and silhouettes to fabric selection and final touches," said Michelle Copelman, vice president of brand and design at Andie. "We are thrilled to partner with such an influential fashion icon on this very special collection and can’t wait to share it with women around the world," she added.
"My relationship with Andie has existed since the very beginning of Andie, and there was a natural progression," said Moore, who became an investor in Andie in 2018. "This happened after my daughters and I did the campaign together last summer, it just evolved very naturally. [...] In the process, it allowed me to explore some things about what I liked, what I thought other women might find interesting and unique that also addressed some of their areas of concern, and in doing so, in a way that was always sexy and stylish."
