Dell Consolidates Moroccan Operations, Merging Key IT Subsidiaries

The rapprochement of the two IT giants Dell Technologies and EMC Corporation, which has been in effect for six years, is intensifying. Dell has merged its two main subsidiaries in Morocco.
EMC Corporation has finalized the merger by absorption of EMC Information System Morocco Limited by Dell SAS, reports Challenge. As a result, the acquirer based in Casanearshore takes over the assets and liabilities of the acquired company. It therefore recovers the representation in Morocco of EMC-branded products and services, world-renowned in the data storage business, which are distributed by partner importers, such as Ingram Micro North Africa.
This merger at the Moroccan level aims to pool the management resources and administrative staff of the two merged entities. It will also simplify the structure of ownership of the Moroccan subsidiaries by the American parent company. On the social side, the merger is carried out without any hitches. For 5 years, HR processes and practices have been converging. The head office of EMC Information System Morocco Limited was also located in Casanearshore.
