Death Toll Rises to 17 in Tragic Bus Accident in Morocco’s Taza Province

The number of deaths and injuries in the Taza tragedy continues to climb. Established at eight dead and 43 injured on December 1, the toll is now 17 people dead.
The local and security authorities, as well as the civil protection services, were present on the scene and intervened to evacuate the injured to the Ibnou Baja provincial hospital for necessary care.
In addition, an investigation has been opened by the security authorities under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of this tragedy.
On Sunday, December 1, a bus overturned in the Bab Marzouka commune in the Taza province. The reasons for this accident are currently unknown.
