Deadly Overdose in Rabat: Young Man’s Body Dumped After Party Gone Wrong

A young man died of an overdose last week in Rabat, after consuming the drug "L’Bouffa" during a drunken evening with friends.
After his death, the body of the 25-year-old man was thrown into the street by his companions (two young men and three girls) who were with him at this drunken evening that took place in a house in the Océan district. Informed of this macabre discovery in the early morning of Thursday, the police services in charge of security quickly went to the scene where they noted the death of the young man, reports Assabah.
The victim’s body was taken to the morgue for the purposes of the autopsy. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, which has opened an investigation to shed light on this case, the judicial police arrested the five young people present at the evening. After being heard, they were presented to the prosecutor over the weekend. During their interrogation, some of them claimed that the victim had consumed drugs. The autopsy will confirm this theory.
Investigators sealed the house where the victim died. They also managed to identify the person who supplied the drugs to these young people. A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued against him. As for the five young people arrested, they risk heavy prison sentences for drug use offenses, debauchery and prostitution, failure to assist a person in danger and false statements.
