Deadly Motorcycle Race Claims Two Lives in Rural Morocco

Two young men died in a crazy motorcycle race in Morocco, in the Cherarda douar, Rehamna province. An investigation is underway to shed light on this accident.
This will be the last motorcycle race of their lives. These two young Moroccans, aged 20 and 26, resided respectively in the Ba H’ssina (Oulad Hassoune commune) and Oulad Zabir (El Ouidane commune) douars. While they were racing at high speed, the two motorcyclists were victims of a serious accident. One of the motorcycles caught fire, reports Al Massae. The two young men died on the spot. Meanwhile, the other competitors continued the race.
Following an alert, the Royal Gendarmerie arrived at the scene of the accident. The bodies of the victims were transferred to the Marrakech morgue. An investigation is underway to shed light on this tragedy.
According to witnesses, these motorcycle races are legion in this region of the kingdom. At nightfall, many young people participate in this competition that whets the appetite of bettors.
