Motorcyclist Killed in Train Collision at Level Crossing in Nador, Morocco

A terrible accident occurred on Wednesday, May 17 in the Nador region. A freight train collided head-on with a man at the level of the Selouane Commune.
A motorcyclist tried to force a level crossing while a freight train was approaching at full speed. An imprudent gesture that cost the life of this 59-year-old man.
The civil protection elements arrived very quickly on the scene, but the man had already succumbed to his injuries. The body was transferred to the morgue of the Nador hospital.
The Royal Gendarmerie has opened an investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
