Crown Prince Moulay Hassan Impresses at Spanish Royal Visit to Morocco

Among those present during the royal welcome reserved for Felipe VI and his wife, alongside King Mohammed VI, was the heir apparent Moulay Hassan on February 13. And he did not go unnoticed, judging by some headlines in the Spanish press. He even arouses admiration.
Among the most eloquent articles about Moulay Hassan, there is a notable one from elconfidencial.com. The media does not skimp on praise for the heir apparent, and more precisely his sense of responsibility proportionate to his status: "At the age of 15, the eldest son of Mohamed VI and Lalla Salma has long accompanied his father in official commitments and even makes solo trips". Indeed, the heir apparent recently traveled alone to the funeral of the Count of Paris.
El Confidencial also specifies that Moulay Hassan was present at all the events on the first day of Felipe VI and his wife Letizia’s visit. Including during the signing of agreements between the two governments, Spanish and Moroccan. This would be, for the online media: "an additional step in his training as a future monarch".
"The young man attended the official welcome and the meeting that the entire royal family had with Felipe and Letizia and also made an appearance at the gala dinner, occupying a chair next to Felipe VI," the same source also claims.
Moreover, the son of King Mohammed VI is compared to European heirs: "The contrast between Moulay Hassan and other European heirs under the age of 18, namely a trio of heiresses: Princess Leonor, Amalia of the Netherlands and Elisabeth of Belgium, is striking. All lead a life far removed from official programs".
In conclusion, far from depicting him only as a minor with many responsibilities, the media recalls that Moulay Hassan is a "normal" teenager, passionate about football, especially Barça and Messi, who listens to music and, ultimately, practices sports.
