COVID-19 Patient’s Gold Ring Allegedly Stolen in Moroccan Hospital, Family Demands Investigation

Deceased, in the night from Friday to Saturday, at the Abou Kacem Ezzahraoui hospital in Ouazzane, a victim of Covid-19 would have been robbed on her deathbed. According to her family, someone stole her gold ring.
The victim had never parted with her ring, say her relatives, who lost 2 members of their families in 3 days from the consequences of the Coronavirus, reports the site Hibapress. The staff questioned denied having seen the missing object.
In their request, the family of the deceased called on the Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb, to open an investigation into the incident, and to take the necessary measures against the perpetrators of this shameful act, which tarnishes the image of the public institution.
"This ring accompanied the victim every day of her life. It was the pride of the deceased. It is an antique piece, whose sentimental value is unparalleled, as was the custom with our mothers and grandmothers," said a relative of the victim.
