Transgender Influencer Sofia Taloni Poisoned and Robbed of $100,000 in Turkey Attack

The Moroccan transgender influencer, Sofia Taloni, was the victim of an attempted homicide at her home in Turkey. Her assailants, a Moroccan mafia established in the country, are said to have stolen more than one million dirhams from her.
In a video posted on social media, Sofia Taloni said she had been stripped of all her savings by Moroccan mafia members. Hospitalized following a food poisoning, the transgender woman accuses her attackers of deliberately poisoning her.
"I have never dared to harm anyone, let alone steal. Generous by nature, I have never thought of letting people down, without thinking one day that I was dealing with devils in human form. Why poison me and strip me of all my savings? What is my crime?" wrote the influencer.
Involved in a defamation campaign against the LGBT community, Sofia Taloni could have been the target of a settling of scores. She claimed to have lost several valuable items, including watches and designer handbags.
