COVID-19 Outbreak Hits Kenitra City Council: Mayor and Six Members Test Positive

After Aziz Rebbah, minister and mayor of Kenitra, six members of the Municipal Council he chairs have tested positive for Covid-19.
Following the announcement regarding the situation of Aziz Rebbah, Minister of Energy and Mines and Mayor of Kenitra, tested positive for Covid-19, six other members of this council have also been infected. Among them are Abdelhak Abrouk and Latifa Hammou, who are the mayor’s deputies.
On Thursday evening, Aziz Rebbah had announced that he and his wife were infected with Covid-19. They were admitted to the Cheikh Zayd Hospital in Rabat for treatment. He is thus the second member of the government to be affected by this virus, also from the PJD, after Abdelkader Amara, the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, reports Le 360.
