Coronavirus Halts Filming of Star-Studded "The Forgiven" in Morocco

The coronavirus is affecting all sectors and causing damage, suspension and cancellation of events. The British production "The Forgiven", filming in Morocco, has just been suspended.
"The Forgiven" by John Michael McDonagh, has been forced to suspend its production, scheduled to end next week in Morocco. The spread of COVID-19, which has already caused 2 deaths and more than fifty cases of contamination in the Kingdom, has put an end to this film whose actors Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Chastain, Caleb Landry Jones and the Franco-Moroccan actor, Saïd Taghmaoui, not to mention the production team, have been repatriated as a precaution, as part of government measures.
"The Forgiven" is inspired by the novel by Lawrence Osborne. The film tells the story of an English couple whose life has been turned upside down following an accident. Like "The Forgiven", many television and film productions around the world have been forced to take a break, pending solutions to overcome the coronavirus pandemic.
