Speculation is raging in the Moroccan consumer protection market, with the spread of Coronavirus around the world and the risk of its introduction into the kingdom.
Speculation on the prices of medical masks is taking on alarming dimensions, in the absence of controls by the authorities.
Out of stock for more than 3 weeks, some local suppliers have taken advantage of this opportunity to multiply their profits, by raising the price of the medical mask from 12 to 130 dirhams.
A situation that the Confederation of Pharmacists did not fail to report to the Ministry of Health, in order to supply the market with sufficient quantities to meet the demand.
