Coronavirus Death at Moroccan Cannery Sparks Panic Among Workers

A woman working in a cannery in Larache died on Tuesday from the coronavirus. Since then, her colleagues have been in a state of panic.
The health and local authorities of the city are on alert after the death of this employee. Acute fever would be the cause of the worker’s death, according to the findings of the doctor, in the presence of the deceased’s family who went to the town hall’s health office for the burial permit. The doctor alerted the pacha of the city who immediately ordered the transfer of the body to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Subsequently, the body tested positive for the coronavirus. In other words, the worker had been infected with covid-19. The health and prefectural authorities of the city quickly took the measure of the situation. The more than 200 workers in the factory and the twenty people who had gone to the deceased’s home to present their condolences were tested for the coronavirus.
According to the facts, the victim suffered from asthma and had fainted in the factory a week ago. This had not attracted the attention of the factory managers. She regained consciousness, consulted a doctor who did not suspect a covid-19 contamination. She returned to work a week later, collapsed the same day, before dying the next day at home.
