Controversial Moroccan Singer Dedicates Song to Women Amid Rape Allegations

Guilty or innocent, the story is strange. Saad Lamjarred has, on the occasion of International Women’s Day this Friday, just dedicated his new song, a cover in fact, to women, while he is being prosecuted in several rape cases.

The song "Akhedni maak" originally performed by the two Lebanese artists Yara and Fadl Shaker, has just been covered by the Moroccan pop star described by the French press as a serial rapist, the famous Saad Lamjarred.

And that’s not all. The Moroccan took the time to make a special dedication to women, on the occasion of their international day, on March 8. The video was shared on his YouTube channel. The dedication, published on Instagram.

The singer would currently be in Paris, banned from leaving the territory as he is charged with rapes, and would be filling his time by focusing on music and his artistic work. He is also said to be preparing a duet with the Egyptian artist Mohammed Ramadan in Paris.
