Congo is working hard to prepare the Alphonse Massamba-Débat stadium in Brazzaville, which is to host the next two matches of the Leopards against the Niger team and the Atlas Lions of Morocco scheduled for June 6 and 11, 2024, as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
In Congo, the authorities are working tirelessly to prepare the Alphonse Massamba-Débat stadium in Brazzaville, which is to host the next two matches of the Leopards against the Niger team and the Atlas Lions of Morocco scheduled for June 6 and 11, 2024, as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. They gave the go-ahead for the work two weeks ago. The company "Green Field" specialized in synthetic turf for stadiums, is responsible for removing the old worn synthetic turf from the Alphonse Massamba-Débat stadium and replacing it with a new synthetic turf of the "FIFA Quality Pro" type, which is currently the best type of synthetic turf in the world.
Once the work is completed, the Congolese authorities will await the approval of the inspection commissions of the Alphonse Massamba-Débat stadium, in order to be able to welcome the national teams of Niger and Morocco in their capital Brazzaville. A way for them to avoid the matches being relocated to the neighboring country, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
