Concerns Mount Over Agadir Stadium Readiness for 2025 Africa Cup

Seven months: this is the time left before the African Football Confederation (CAF) takes possession of the stadiums for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. And in Agadir, the construction site of the stadium and its surroundings is far from giving all the guarantees.
Where other cities, like Rabat, Casablanca or Fez, are going full steam ahead, the capital of Souss seems to be showing a worrying delay. Other road projects have been completed in record time, but here the pace is much slower, Rue20 is alarmed.
For now, it is difficult to imagine thousands of supporters converging towards the stadium. The surroundings are only a vast wasteland. Accessing the enclosure is almost an expedition, so the access roads are non-existent or impracticable.
Such an observation leads to the question: are the companies in charge of the work strictly following the specifications? What role are the local authorities playing in the monitoring of this large-scale construction site? The deadline is approaching, and the least we can say is that the picture is not reassuring, we are worried.
