Comedian Gad El Maleh Opens Up About Love Life and Marriage Prospects

Gad El Maleh was the guest on Wednesday morning of the "le Morning de Momo" show on Hit Radio. Straight-talking, the Franco-Moroccan comedian and humorist spoke on certain topics, including his love life.
On the phone from Paris where he is located, the versatile artist, who is very popular with an intergenerational audience, responded in a relaxed and amusing atmosphere to Momo’s questions for about half an hour.
The host asked him a question about a possible marriage. "Is Gad going to get married?" he asked him in darija. A direct, serious question, which received an equally sincere answer: "Right now, I don’t want to, but it could be considered if I ever meet someone who loves me for who I am, and not for what I represent."
The darling of the French is a successful artist, but he could not say as much about his private life. He has had two marriages that have each ended in divorce. Even though he is a bit disappointed, he does not lose hope in love. "She would have to love me for who I am, me the crazy, the wise, the "mkherbeq" (the "disorderly"), the reasoned. For now, she’s not there, but if she ever crosses my path, I’ll let myself go for a love story," he confided.
