Former Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere Rings in New Year with Boyfriend in Marrakech

Marrakech is definitely the favorite city of European stars. Among those who made a point of spending the end-of-year holidays there, there is Iris Mittenaere and her boyfriend, the Franco-Moroccan Diego El Glaoui.
The former Miss Universe has unveiled her first photos of 2021 on Instagram. She also confides that she was very happy to start the year with Diego in Morocco. The photos in a very loving posture of the two lovebirds have been talked about on the web. More than 132,000 "likes" in just a few hours from her fans. In the comments, the latter did not hesitate to compliment the two lovers.
In an interview with TV Mag on Thursday, December 31, Iris Mittenaere spoke about the couple she has formed for more than a year with Diego El Glaoui. "We have the same vision of things even if we come from very different universes. Diego is Moroccan and grew up in Paris. Me, I’m from the North, I was raised in the countryside... We are very complementary." The young woman also confides that she wants to give the love relationship an even more special touch. "I want to get married, but it’s not up to me! We’re a bit old-fashioned..." reports public.fr.
Iris explained that she had a good time with her in-laws. "Diego has always celebrated Christmas in Morocco, so we had planned Christmas for a year here with his family. It’s the first time I’ve had Christmas without a tree and with sunshine," she had said in an Instagram story. The TV presenter is happy to spend the end-of-year holidays in Moroccan land, but sad to be once again away from her family. "It’s also the second time I’ve had Christmas without my family (last year, I was on the stage of the Paradis Latin. Professional obligation obliges! And this year, they couldn’t travel) so it’s quite special," she confided with a certain melancholy.
But she is delighted to have been able to spend very good times with her beloved’s family in return. "I’m happy to be with him, to be surrounded, and to celebrate this beautiful holiday with a beautiful table. Christmas is just a date. The important thing is to spend beautiful moments with family, even if it’s in 3 months," she stressed.
