Comedian Gad Elmaleh Urges Moroccans to Stay Home Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases

The Franco-Moroccan comedian, Gad Elmaleh, sent a message of solidarity (in Darija) to Moroccans. He took the opportunity to warn about the seriousness of the situation.
"It is very important today to stay at home. Several people have not yet understood that this virus is very dangerous for the country, for you and for your families. Stay at home, I beg you. May God protect you. We will get through this..." These are the words with which Gad Elmaleh addressed his brothers and sisters in Morocco, who are facing the spread of the coronavirus.
In Morocco, the number of people infected with COVID-19 continues to rise. Five new imported cases were detected in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, March 18, 2020, bringing the official toll to 54 cases, including 2 deaths.
