Colombia and Morocco Implement Mutual Visa-Free Travel Agreement

As of November 28, Moroccan citizens will no longer need a visa to travel to Colombia and vice versa.
This decision, announced during the signing in April of the agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports, was formalized on Thursday by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita and his Colombian counterpart Marta Lucia Ramirez.
In this regard, a statement from the department indicated that "following the acts signed during the working meeting held on April 6, 2021, the two parties proceeded to an exchange of notes concerning the entry into force of the Agreement on visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports, which will result in a great strengthening of human, tourist, economic, social, commercial and academic exchanges between the two friendly countries."
