The announced display will allow the US manufacturer to showcase the capabilities of its fifth-generation aircraft, Security Review Magazine reported on October 4. The cockpit will be installed at the company’s stand, alongside models of the F-35A, F-16 and C-130J Super Hercules.

Visitors to the exhibition area will also see aircraft in service: F-16s from the Royal Moroccan Air Force and a US Air Force C-130J are expected. Lockheed Martin is pairing its presentation of the technologies with aircraft already familiar to the Moroccan military.

The Super Hercules is expected in particular to fuel discussions about the evolution of the kingdom’s military air transport. The manufacturer is highlighting its capabilities for transporting troops and equipment, as well as for humanitarian relief and disaster response.

HIMARS and missile defense also on the program

The exhibition will go beyond the aviation sector. According to Defense Arabia, Lockheed Martin will present a full-scale Sniper Networked Targeting Pod, as well as the Javelin anti-tank system and HIMARS rocket launcher.

Models of the PAC-3 MSE interceptor and ER GMLRS extended-range rockets will round out the display. The company aims to show how its aircraft, sensors and command systems can work together to coordinate operations.

Before the show opens, the company’s presence will also take an industrial form. On Tuesday, October 6, Lockheed Martin will bring together Moroccan suppliers with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Companies will receive information on qualification requirements and manufacturing opportunities for the company’s programs.

These discussions build on cooperation that began with Morocco’s first C-130Hs in 1974 and later expanded to F-16s starting in 2011. It now also covers the development of aircraft maintenance in Morocco, with Sabena Engineering and MEDZ.

In Benslimane, the partners began construction in October 2025 on a hangar of more than 8,000 m². Initially intended for heavy maintenance and upgrades of C-130 Hercules aircraft, the project is expected to expand its capabilities to other aircraft, including the F-16.
