CNSS Launches Debt Amnesty Program for Moroccan Companies

The amnesty on late payment penalties, fines and collection fees related to 2016 and prior has come into effect. It covers all companies affiliated with the CNSS and who undertake to settle their debts owed to the Fund according to a mutually agreed schedule for the accumulated debts.
The settlement should be made on the basis of a scale of remission on the late payment surcharges, penalties and prosecution costs. The surcharge rate is between 30 and 90%. The implementation of this measure, validated last December, was expected since January 1 and until December 31, 2020. But it was delayed by the coronavirus epidemic.
In addition, an online portal has been created for the occasion. It aims to simplify the procedures for affiliated companies wishing to benefit from these measures.
