New club for Sofyan Amrabat?
Juventus would be interested in Sofyan Amrabat. The Moroccan midfielder, on loan at Manchester United since last summer, should return to Fiorentina at the end of June.
Sofyan Amrabat is one of Giuntoli’s priorities, Juventus’ sporting director. In addition to the Dutchman Teun Koopmeiners, the Italian club is interested in the Moroccan international to strengthen the team in case Adrien Rabiot leaves at the end of the season, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 27-year-old player is not shining at Manchester United where he has been on loan with a purchase option since last summer. The English club’s management does not seem satisfied with the Atlas Lion’s performances and do not plan to activate the purchase option at the end of the loan.
Thus, barring last-minute changes, Sofyan Amrabat should leave the Red Devils and return to his home club in June. Even though his contract with Fiorentina runs until 2025, the midfielder is not expected to stay with the club after his loan return. Juventus could be his next destination.
