European MP Gilles Pargneaux, during a program on the Moroccan news channel Medi1 Tv, reported the loss of 80% of Moroccan water resources within 25 years, according to forecasts.
Speaking on this threat looming over the Kingdom due to climate change, the French politician and lobbyist stressed the urgency of taking action: "It is high time to act," said the elected representative of the North-West constituency, from 2009 to 2019.
However, he believes that actions have been taken for many years, particularly by King Hassan II, the predecessor of King Mohammed VI, to address this situation.
