Chinese Automaker Lynk & Co Expands into Moroccan Market with New Partnership

The Chinese automotive brand Lynk & Co is conquering the Moroccan market. In Marrakech, it has partnered with LK Automotive Maroc, the new entity affiliated with AEK Holding.
On the sidelines of the international touring car racing series (TCR World Tour 2024) whose second round is being held from May 3 to 4 on the Moulay El Hassan circuit in Marrakech, LK Automotive Maroc and Lynk & Co have signed a partnership agreement. "It is with great pleasure that we are embarking on this collaboration with Lynk & Co in order to introduce their innovative vehicles to the Moroccan market," said Abdelouahad El Kadiri, President of LK Automotive and also owner of Scandinavian Auto Maroc, the exclusive importer of Volvo. He added: "this partnership is part of our vision to offer sustainable and accessible mobility to all, while guaranteeing an unparalleled user experience." The manager also announced that the first models of the Lynk & Co brand will be available for sale from next December.
Lynk & Co was founded in 2016 by the Chinese group Geely, which also owns the Volvo brand. It stands out by offering connected cars focused on vehicle sharing, with an innovative approach to the automotive sector. The Chinese brand offers a range of vehicles characterized by their elegant design, advanced connectivity and intelligent features. These include the 01 SUV, available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, the 02, a compact SUV and the small urban SUV of the range, the 06, as well as the 05 SUV coupe and the 03 sedan, also available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. The know-how of the Chinese brand has allowed it to win six world touring car championships, including four team championships, and two driver championships.
