Chelsea’s Ziyech Makes Premier League Debut in 3-3 Draw with Southampton
The supporters and fans of Hakim Ziyech who were waiting to see him play in the Blues’ colors were served on Saturday, October 17. It was against Southampton, a match at the end of which the Moroccan shared his physical condition.
Hakim Ziyech came on in the 72nd minute of play. The two teams parted ways with a score of 3-3. At the end of the match, the Atlas Lion gave his impressions on the English championship. "It means a lot to me and I’m very happy about it. But it’s not an ideal debut. Their equalizer in the 92nd minute is anything but joyful. Of course it takes time to adapt to the Premier League, but we don’t have time, because the matches follow each other quickly so we have to learn quickly."
The Moroccan returned to the green pitch on October 9 with the national team, after suffering a knee injury.
