Chelsea Star Hakim Ziyech Allegedly Flees Scene of Rolls-Royce Crash in Amsterdam

Hakim Ziyech would have been on board his Rolls-Royce at the time of the accident caused on Sunday in the De Baarsjes district of Amsterdam. According to some witnesses, the Moroccan Chelsea striker was even at the wheel and would have discreetly left the scene wearing a cap to avoid being recognized.
Ziyech’s nearly $500,000 Rolls-Royce violently collided with a Volkswagen Polo on Sunday evening around 6:30 p.m. According to initial rumors, the former Ajax player would have "lent his car to a friend" and was not on board the vehicle at the time of the accident. But several witnesses claim the opposite. Ziyech was indeed in the car and was even driving.
According to several witnesses of the collision, the driver and the passenger of the black Rolls-Royce Cullinan exchanged places after the accident and the first, Hakim Ziyech in this case, quickly left the scene wearing a cap so as not to be recognized in this neighborhood and on the Willem Schouten street where, as a former Ajax player, he has many fans.
"I heard a noise and when I went to see, I saw Ziyech fleeing," confided a resident of the neighborhood to the newspaper De Telegraaf. "I know two, maybe even three witnesses who told the police that the driver and his passenger quickly exchanged places," he adds. "The driver of this car, a young man in a gray tracksuit, immediately fled," specifies another.
"It’s so sad that his name is making headlines because of this accident," regrets Peter, a former Ajax steward who knows everyone in the neighborhood. "There are often speeding here, with cars, scooters, etc. I’ve witnessed several accidents, but this one was the worst," he assures.
