Chelsea FC to Host Premier League’s First Open Iftar at Stamford Bridge

After the Blackburn team, an English second division club, which had opened its doors in 2022 to host the Eid al-Fitr prayer during Ramadan, it is now Chelsea’s turn, the club of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, to offer a unique opportunity to Muslims.
In a press release, the Chelsea Foundation announced that it will organize, in collaboration with the Ramadan Tent Project, an award-winning charity founded in 2013 with the mission of bringing communities together and developing understanding of Ramadan, an Open Iftar, on Sunday, March 26, on the side of the Stamford Bridge pitch. A first for the club and a Premier League stadium. Local mosques and members of the Chelsea Muslim community such as supporters and students, as well as Chelsea FC staff, are invited to this very first breaking of the fast meal.
