Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech Weighs Lucrative Saudi Pro League Offer from Al-Nassr

Hakim Ziyech could join the Saudi Pro League, after Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo. The Moroccan winger, who no longer feels happy at Chelsea, should soon leave the English club.
Ziyech is said to have received an offer that cannot be refused from the Al-Nassr club, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, with some sources reporting that the club president plans to travel to London soon to try to convince the Moroccan international.
Although in great shape at Ajax, his former club, Ziyech has not shone since his arrival at Chelsea during the 2020-2021 season. The Moroccan striker has gradually declined in performance, which prompted former coach Thomas Tuchel to leave him on the sidelines. Ziyech has also failed to gain the confidence of Graham Potter, Tuchel’s successor. The Atlas Lion was hoping to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on loan in January, but the transfer failed at the last minute.
Ziyech has not been a regular starter at Chelsea for some time now. He has made a few appearances as a substitute under Potter and Franck Lampard, but most of the time the Moroccan winger remains on the bench. Frustrated at Chelsea, Ziyech would be very interested in joining Al-Nassr and playing alongside Ronaldo, who joined the club after Portugal’s elimination by Morocco in the World Cup quarter-finals in Qatar.
Al-Nassr should make an interesting offer to Ziyech and Chelsea. The London club, which is looking to reduce its squad and replenish its coffers, would not oppose the departure of a player whose contract runs until 2025.
