Chelsea Fans Launch Petition to Oust Manager Graham Potter Amid Poor Results

Are Graham Potter’s days numbered at Chelsea? While the coach was just beginning to get along with Hakim Ziyech and give him more playing time, the supporters have launched a petition demanding his departure.
Chelsea supporters have in the past demanded the departure of Hakim Ziyech. But never have they gone as far as they are doing now with Graham Potter. The petition has already garnered more than 40,000 signatures, showing the determination of Chelsea supporters. The London club seems to have lost its reputation since its acquisition by American businessman Todd Boehly. The Blues are on a losing streak, fueling the anger of supporters who believe that Graham Potter is not up to the task entrusted to him, reports La dernière heure.
"Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and the shareholders, this petition is addressed to you to dismiss Graham Potter. He has won 2 of our last 15 games, leaving supporters exhausted and devastated, despite hundreds of millions of euros spent. We have immense quality in the team, but there is one area we can change, and that is the coach. For the future of Chelsea Football Club, please fire Graham Potter," write the signatories.
Currently 10th in the league, the Blues are ten points away from the Champions League places. With their defeat against Borussia Dortmund, they are on the verge of elimination. Since his arrival at the helm of the club, the former Brighton coach has already lost 10 out of 26 matches. Yet Chelsea has invested heavily in recruitment. This further fuels the anger of the petition signatories. Rumors say the club would have offered a golden contract to Zinedine Zidane so that he accepts to replace the English technician.
