Chelsea Eyes Hellas Verona’s Belahyane as Potential Midfield Signing

Reda Belahyane, midfielder of Hellas Verona, is on Chelsea’s radar who wants to recruit him during this transfer window and is ready to offer him a very attractive offer.
Hellas Verona is looking to strengthen its midfield and sees in Reda Belahyane the potential replacement for player Cesare Casadei. The latter would interest Lazio and Turin. Chelsea is demanding £12.6 million to let the 22-year-old player go, who has made only six appearances this season - and none in the Premier League. The Blues could reinvest a similar amount in signing Belahyane, according to Sky Sports.
If Chelsea invests the full £12.6 million received for Casadei in Belahyane, Verona will have received 30 times what it paid Nice for him a year ago. The Moroccan international arrived at Verona in January 2024 from Nice as part of a £420,000 transfer.
Chelsea’s interest in Belahyane is explained by the player’s performances. The Atlas Lion has provided two assists in 18 games across all competitions.
In addition to Belahyane, Chelsea is also showing interest in Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho. The English club should face strong competition from Napoli for the signing of the Argentine.
