Chelsea Edges Crystal Palace 1-0 as Ziyech Sparks Blues’ Attack

Chelsea gets back on track and records its first win of the year against Crystal Palace (1-0) on Sunday, thanks to a very good performance from Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech.
Even if this victory does not move Chelsea up in the standings, it provides a breath of fresh air for Hakim Ziyech. At the end of the first half, no goal had been scored. It was on the return from the locker room that the Blues showed themselves to be offensive and determined to reconnect with the goals. Kai Havertz made the team’s wish possible in the 65th minute of play thanks to a superb cross from Ziyech.
Chelsea is still in 10th place (28 points), but is getting closer to qualifying for the Champions League. The next match will be against Liverpool and remains decisive for Graham Potter’s men. To give the team a boost, Chelsea had officially announced the arrival of Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk, transferred for 100 million euros. The player was presented at the end of the first half of the match against Crystal Palace.
