Chefchaouen Expands Tourism Infrastructure with 200 New Hotel Beds

Like the major Moroccan tourist destinations, the city of Chefchaouen is developing its accommodation capacity, to prepare for the post-Covid recovery. Three new hotels were built last year.
Thus, the city has 200 additional beds, reports the newspaper Aujourd’hui le Maroc, specifying that tourism and crafts constitute a key ecosystem of the local economy.
Among the new hotels in the city is the Vaincii Hotel, a property of a Chinese operator. Located in the city center near other hotels and tourist attractions, this hotel has a capacity of 100 beds. It is intended, with its architecture and blue facade as well as its varied cuisine, to adapt to the international but also traditional aspect of the blue pearl.
We also cite the Dar Ba Sidi & Spa, a luxury hotel that has increased the city’s capacity by 82 beds. The same year saw the opening of the Dar Nila guest house in the heart of the old medina, with its 18 beds, the newspaper said.
In addition, 17 hotel projects of all categories are under study within the Regional Investment Center of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima. They plan to contribute to strengthening the accommodation capacity of the province with some 386 beds.
