Chaos at Morocco’s Largest Train Station: Taxi Drivers Disrupt Rabat Agdal

Chaos reigns at the Rabat Agdal station, considered the most beautiful and largest station in Morocco and one of the largest on the continent.
Security guards and passengers under the diktat of taxi drivers at the Rabat Agdal station. While the security guards have taken strict measures to prevent the drivers from approaching the main entrance of the station, the chaos persists, warns Al3omq. Cries and shouts are heard at the station due to the drivers’ refusal to transport passengers to their desired destinations. That’s not all. The drivers insist on transporting several passengers at the same time and to different directions. Consequence: a monstrous traffic jam is observed when the cars leave the station.
An unnamed anarchy while Morocco is preparing to welcome tens of millions of tourists and supporters for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) it will host and the 2030 World Cup it will co-organize with Spain and Portugal. It is therefore urgent that the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Digital Transition develop a strategy for the development of the sector and the transition to sustainable transport, by authorizing global companies capable of organizing the sector.
