Ceuta Launches Tourism Campaign to Attract Moroccan Shoppers and Diners

The local authorities of the city of Ceuta will promote this destination to Moroccan tourists, who are already very numerous to go there for their shopping.
The announcement was made by the mayor of the city Juan Jesús Vivas on the sidelines of the Fitur 2019 trade fair (International Tourism Fair in Madrid). The latter stated that his government would once again target the Moroccan clientele, calling on professionals in the sector to redouble their efforts to seduce the Moroccans.
In addition to shopping, especially during the sales period, Moroccans are very numerous to go to the city’s restaurants and cafes, but these establishments must absolutely adapt to this type of clientele.
A recent study conducted by the local authorities showed that nearly 50% of the turnover of Ceuta merchants comes from Moroccans, who only ask to come back, provided that their passage at the border level is done under good conditions.
