The authorities of the Spanish enclave Ceuta are considering opening "humanitarian corridors" with Morocco, in order to facilitate the return to the country of Moroccans stranded in the city.
The initiative, which coincides with the repatriation operation of Moroccan nationals stranded in Spain, has not yet been set in time.
Although the return of Moroccans from Ceuta is not currently on the agenda of the Moroccan government, the Spanish authorities remain optimistic about the imminent resolution of this situation.
In the meantime, the fifty or so Moroccans still stranded in Ceuta since last March have been moved to a facility near the Moroccan border.
