US CDC Classifies Morocco as Low-Risk COVID-19 Travel Destination

Morocco is a country with a "low level of coronavirus contamination". This is what the federal agency Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has indicated, which has just updated its recommendations regarding international travel.
According to the US agency, the updated data on international travel shows that Morocco, including its Saharan provinces, represents a destination with a low risk of Covid-19 infections.
In this document from the US federal agency, the map of the Kingdom of Morocco has been represented with its southern provinces, remaining in harmony with the United States’ decision of December 10, 2020, to recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.
In addition to Morocco, Australia, China, Senegal and Israel are among the 55 states and territories that offer guarantees to be safe destinations.
However, the CDC health authorities recommend that all US citizens be fully vaccinated before traveling and comply with the measures in force in Morocco, including wearing a mask and social distancing.
Unlike Morocco, the federal agency strongly advises US citizens not to travel to neighboring Algeria, which is in the category of countries where the current epidemiological situation is unknown. Along with Algeria, Afghanistan, Sudan, Tajikistan, and some Pacific islands are cited as "non-transparent" countries in communicating their official statistics, adds the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
