Casablanca’s Renaissance: Royal Luxury and French Expat Boom Transform Morocco’s Economic Hub

The news magazine "66 Minutes: Grand Format", broadcast on M6 this Sunday, July 20, 2025, will offer two reports, one of which will be devoted to the city of Casablanca.
The first subject will focus on the economic capital of Morocco. It will explore the recent developments in the city, marked by the opening in May 2024 of the Royal Mansour palace. Established in the former El Mansour hotel, located in the French quarter, this project has been accompanied by renovations of infrastructure in the city center, including roads and building facades.
The report will also show that Casablanca, like Rabat, is one of the cities that hosts the most French residents, including designers, physiotherapists, businessmen and chefs.
The second report will focus on the celebration of the National Holiday in Les Sables-d’Olonne, in Vendée. The event is presented as a highlight of the summer season for this resort on the Atlantic coast, which attracts up to 250,000 vacationers per day during this weekend.
