Casablanca Real Estate Prices Dip 0.1% as Land Values Fall, Sales Plummet

Variations have marked the real estate market in Casablanca during the first quarter of 2023. A 0.1% decrease was recorded compared to the previous quarter. Here are the details.
This trend reflects a more pronounced 4.9% decrease for land, while residential properties recorded a slight increase of 0.3% and commercial properties saw an increase of 0.1%, according to figures published by the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Cartography.
At the same time, real estate sales experienced a sharp decline of 17.4% over the same period. This overall decline reflects both the decrease in residential property transactions, which fell by 17.9%, and the decrease in land transactions, with a more moderate decline of 3%.
