In Casablanca, the police managed to dismantle a new real estate spoliation network. They also arrested its leader and two other people suspected of being involved in this trafficking.
Real estate spoliation networks continue to operate in several cities of the kingdom. A new network has thus been dismantled in Casablanca. Its modus operandi consists of hacking the systems of establishments such as the Land Registry in order to obtain all the necessary information on the properties to be spoliated. Then, the head of the network and his accomplices falsify official documents of real estate properties allowing them to produce false identity documents in the name of the owners, but with photos of accomplices, in order to facilitate the transfer of properties to third parties, reports the Arabic-language daily Assabah.
