Casablanca Opens New 73-Bed Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Clinic

The city of Casablanca is welcoming another specialized structure for the care of mental disorders and addictions. Called "Villa des Lilas-Anfa", this clinic has 73 inpatient beds in individual rooms, with eight psychiatric inpatient units and a psychosocial rehabilitation center.
And two for the city, 9 years after the opening of the "first Clinic specialized in the care of mental disorders and addictions in Morocco and Africa". This second infrastructure offers its patients full-time or part-time hospitalization.
According to the clinic’s press release, the patients’ state of health "is generally assessed upon admission by a specialist through clinical interviews and psychometric tests. They are then taken care of through visits by psychiatrists and psychologists, and their participation in numerous therapeutic activities, and other group therapies," reports 2M.ma.
Hachem Tyal is a psychiatrist and founder of the two Villa des Lilas clinics. He stated that "the success of the first clinic is based on rigorous diagnosis, quality of care and humanization of the relationship". The clinic also "pays particular attention to the support of patients’ families through regular interviews and the implementation of specific programs," indicates the same source.
