Casablanca Cracks Down on Illegal Beach Parasol Rentals, Ensures Free Public Access

Every summer, parasol renters fill the beaches of Casablanca, preventing vacationers from fully enjoying these public spaces. The city authorities are warning against this practice.
The parasol and chair renters who illegally set up on the beaches of Casablanca during the summer are warned. Mayor Nabila Rmili has announced the taking of firm measures to fight against the illegal and anarchic occupation of the city’s beaches in order to guarantee their normal and organized access to vacationers.
The mayor of the city has recalled that access to the beaches is free and free of charge, inviting vacationers to report to the authorities any request for fees or obligation to use the rented equipment. These measures aim to maintain public order and cleanliness on the beaches, she assured.
